Our Fleet

OUR CURRENT FLEET CONSISTS OF 6 VESSELS: FIVE CRUISERS RANGING FROM 27 to 34 FT AND ONE 25 FT VESSEL DEDICATED TO TRAINING NEW CLUB MEMBERS.

The devastating White Rock storm in December 2018 destroyed our entire fleet at the time of seven boats. Within months we regrouped, and rebuilt the club back up to 6 boats.

We have secured several US moorage locations in Points Roberts and Blaine. And we also have two Canadian spot at Ward’s Marina near Crescent Beach and Sewells Marina in Horseshoe Bay. During the summer, we station one of our boats at Lund , to accommodate those who wish to explore the beautiful wilderness of the Desolation Sound area.

You might see our boats sailing in Semiahmoo Bay or cruising the San Juan and Gulf Islands. You can also find us joining a race or two in the area.

All of our vessels are great all-around sailboats, with large cockpits, comfortable cabins, and all required safety equipment: VHF marine radios, roller furling foresails, marine heads with holding tanks and much more. The 5 Cruising boats sleep 4 to 6 people and are equipped with additional amenities suitable for longer ventures sailing the pleasant San Juan and Gulf Islands.

Our priority is to keep the fleet in safe and seaworthy condition at all times. Annual maintenance and upgrades are accomplished at the beginning of each sailing season and the boats are maintained on an ongoing basis throughout the year by coop members. Sails, outboards, rigging, docking lines etc are replaced on an ongoing basis as needed.
